Welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan 2025
Children from different Sanggar in Surabaya welcome the holy month of Ramadan with various programs that held by the Alternative Education Forum. Their first meeting was full of friendship, starting from teenagers between sanggar becoming committees and children perform their talented;
The activity held in RW 10 Tales, Wonokromo on March 15 was enlivened by various creativity and works ranging from friendly coloring and drawing competitions, there was also an angklung art performance from the children of the Sanggar Alang-Alang, the gembang suling dance from the children of the Sanggar Merah Merdeka, a chorus of voices from the children of Pelita Insan Pembelajar and the ampar-ampar pisang dance from the children of the SMM.
The activity which was closed with a religion sermon and breaking the fast together was attended by 180 children and their tutors. This is the initial step of collaboration between non formal education forums in the city of Surabaya to continue to have an impact on the quality of Indonesian children.(Mahrawi)
