The children of Sanggar Merah Merdeka in Wonokromo, Surabaya did activity during their school holiday. For about three days they studied about internet and android as tools of learning. They also studied how to fight hoaxes.
As we know almost every child in Indonesia has gadget or android. But they used their android just to play the game or accessed the facebook, instagram and whatsapp. They do not use the their handphone to searching the lesson. Therefore, sanggar did activity together with Stikom Institute to educate about media to fill school holidays.
The activities carried out at Sanggar were facilitated by lecturers and students of The Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Stikom Surabaya. The activity was very fun because it was taught through simple language and games. Children even though school holiday continued to study.
