The Youth Pledge was a declaration by young Indonesian nationalists at the second congress on 28 October 1928. They proclaimed three ideas: one motherland, one nation and one language. On October 28, 2021, some youths in Lebak English Club held an activity to commemorate the 93rd Youth Pledge Day.
An activity that was held by some youth was reflection. They together discussed the history of youth pledge and explained what happened on 28 October. After that they read the text of youth pledge in English because they are learning English.
Youth Pledge Day not only just commorated but also has to be implemented by youth. The youth of Indonesia as a young generation has good vision such as to be critical, creative, disciplined, independent, good character and good for other people.
